We've been the backbone of Michigan's Earthwork Harvest Gathering for years. The festival utilizes well over 100 volunteers every year -- Running the merch booth, taking tickets at the gate, cooking & serving the food and so much more...

What's in it for me?
That's such a 'YOU' thing to say! Every event is different, but it's difficult to expect a solid crowd of helpers without some sort of reward. Most festivals offer to refund at least a chunk of your ticket price in exchange for working a few volunteer shifts.
